Microsoft finally gave the assurance that the operating system Windows 8 will be available beginning October 26, 2012. This was revealed by Microsoft on Wednesday (18/07/2012) local time. This announcement means that on that date the consumer should be able to buy an upgrade to Windows 8 or Windows 8 Pro. Upgrades will be available in the form of strip retail or via download on the internet. In addition, users will be able to get Windows 8 when purchasing a new computer devices, such as laptops and other manufacturers that use Windows 8. Windows 8 is touted as the next big gamble for Microsoft. This operating system began introducing the Metro interface that has a much different concept than previous Windows interfaces. In addition to Windows 8 for computing devices in general (ala x86 Intel and AMD), Microsoft is also preparing Windows for ARM architecture. RT Windows, the name of the operating system, optimized for use on tablet computers. With the launch of Microsoft's Windows 8, it will strengthen the Microsoft stock.
